As his elder, Annie Clyde, was a Dj at the Elks Lodge on Auburn Ave., he was exposed to many genres of music. Classic r&b, funk, rock, and traditional gospel were used as lessons and teaching tools at an early age. Coming into his own, he was one-half of the hip-hop duo, Da Bakwudz, who caught the eye of producer Dallas Austin and Rowdy Records, releasing the album, “WoodWork”. Then known as Big Marc, he worked with producers such as DJ Toomp, Rico Wade, Mr. DJ, Milwaukee Black, The Execs, and Jasper Cameron. He also worked with artists such as Nas, Slim Thug, Bun B., Big Gipp, Killer Mike, Sleepy Brown, Bohagon, Jeff B., and George Clinton.
